How to play

1. Something strange has happened at Nightshade Academy. One of the suspects did it.
2. Each suspect was in one room and carried one spell. No two suspects share a room or a spell.
3. Read the clues. Every clue is true. Use the notebook grid to mark ✖ (no) and ✔ (yes). Tap a clue to cross it off.
4. Name the culprit, the spell and the room. You have 3 tries for the day’s case, saved on this phone. After each try you see which parts were right.
5. Finished? Play up to 3 practice cases a day for fun (they don’t count for your streak).
6. A new case appears every day at midnight. Monday to Wednesday cases have 3 suspects. Thursday to Sunday cases have 4 and are harder.
7. Share your result, keep your streak going, and find your house in the Sorting Ritual.

Tip: start with the clues about the culprit, then fill in the grid. When a row has only one empty box left, that box is the answer.
